all the + 比較級 + for / because ~(〜なのでいっそう…),none the + 比較級 + for ~(〜だからといって少しも…
superior / inferior / senior / junior / prior など(動詞 prefer も to を使う)
|---|---|
| be superior to ~ | 〜より優れている:This car is superior to that one. |
| be inferior to ~ | 〜より劣っている:His work is inferior to yours. |
He is senior to me. |

superior,inferior,senior,junior,prior など -or で終わるラテン語由来の形容詞は,than ではなく to を使って比較を表します。
I prefer tea to coffee.
prefer A to B の A と B には名詞または動名詞を置きます。不定詞を使うときは prefer to do rather than (to) do の形にします。
I prefer staying home to going out.
I prefer to stay home rather than go out.

A + 比較級 + than any other + 単数名詞「A はほかのどの~よりも…」や,Nothing + 比較級 + than A「A より…
Nothing is more precious than time.

than any other の後ろは単数名詞です。
